I always thought ep3 took place a few weeks after ep2, I think it’s because Kenny and someone else mentioned that the bandits were causing problems for weeks so I just assumed that was the time interval. If 3 months before this episode was ep2, and 3 months before ep2 was episode 1 (the beginning of ep2 states “3 months later”), the motel gang survived for around 6 months.
