BAC Mono POV test drive through town and tunnels

some of you asked me repeatedly to do a POV, so here it is. I truly think I look like an idiot when driving around town with a camera on my head, but I do kind of feel why people like this kind of video. It gives away a little bit more of the driving experience.
In this video I show you the starting procedure and the getting it out of the garage procedure as well ;)
Later on I go for a test drive through town where I come through some tunnels, which is always great fun to hear off course.
At the end I have another, shorter drive and end up at a meeting from @Automotim (go give him a follow, he always has some great events lined up)

XD I'd worn GoPros like this too and you really really do feel funny, but you forget about it after a while. Yes, settling into the seat, turning it on, is time consuming... It really is easier to just pull the car out of the garage.. I initially was going to say something about the angle, seems a bit high, but it was perfect for seeing the city center, which was outstanding to see! Thank you for sharing so many little nuances with driving it and living with it. Your English is fine. Nobody notices it but yourself. The angle was lower so you could see the steering wheel a bit better. But there are 2 things why it is extremely difficult to get it perfect. 1st, you set it up on idle, but under load you change your head... 2nd, I always have hypersmooth set to boost because there is a LOT of vibration and if I wouldnt you would only have shaky unwatchable images. But in order to get the vibrations out of the image it crops it quite a bit! So it cuts away a bit low and up in the screen, it doesnt do that on idle...

Car sounds so amazing, reminds me of the S2000. Is there an RPM you need to be at to use the quickshifter and autoblipper? Or can it be used at low RPMs? Although, I'd imagine it'd be really rough.

The sequential works without clutch when you want to, but they advise under WOT only and preferably above 4k rpm only to be kind for gearbox. But honestly, that goes automatically as it is so rough on half throttle, it really comes alive when you are on it and give it some beans😎

Why did you get rid of the 3cm "windscreen"? I think it keeps a lot of bugs off my sunglasses! They end up on the "windscreen" or around the Air intake behind your head. That rearview mirror pair really need the upcoming upgrade with the twin support arm. Hope the won't be ungodly expensive.

Uhm, I didn’t, the windscreen is still there and you are right it helps a lót, I almost never wear a helmet and its perfectly fine. I dont really mind the mirrors and dont really like the look of the twin arm, also heard they solve the problem just partly, so not even going to bother buying them. Are you in the MOC whatsapp group? I guess you are in the USA?

Thanks for subscribing! To be honest I dont do underground parkings, I am to scared to break the front bottem😮 I have not yet asked other owners if it is possible. I do know Mono can do about 10 degrees of incline, but I am guessing there are underground parking entrances which are steeper, so not using any of those. I actually do know of one person using it, @thecollection on instagram had his own underground parking and he is able to go in and out….
