The Netherlands Bach Society performs 'Bereitet die Wege, bereitet die Bahn' for All of Bach. A better salary and more musical elbow room - these were the ambitions of the young Bach after barely a year as the organist at Blasiuskirche, in Mühlhausen. This dream came true after seven years later in 1714, when he was appointed Konzertmeister at the court of Weimar. Here he got the chance to work with professional musicians. This piece is from the beginning of his Weimar period.

Wunderschöne und spannende Aufführung dieser kompakten und fein komponierten Kantate mit gut harmonisierten und perfekt vereinigten Tönen aller historischen Instrumente sowie herrlichen Stimmen aller genialen Solisten. I really enjoyed the brightness of the 465hz pitch, and I applaud Ms. Doyle and all of the singers for extraordinary discipline to sing in it. The oboe sounds especially bright in timbre at 465 hz.
