I can’t believe that Boston Philarmonic doesn’t care about having a piano in tune for Ben... it’s not too much but it would make a difference. Please 🙏🏼

I could watch Bach music being analyzed and dissected for eternity.

So great music is something that passes to the audience's hearts through the player's instrument if played competently (according to the appropriate historical context).

They need to get rid of the squeaky piano pedal :(

Love this performance since it has a unique arrangement and I deeply musicians' emotive/passionate performance. As a composer of original music themes for comics performed on the guitar who trained musically on piano and the viola in secondary and college bands as well as orchestras, I love hearing various instruments to get new ideas for my original music. The musicians' playing did just that with such a lovely musical experience!

4:24 Professor...you're actually standing in 3rd position. 1st position is heels together, 3rd is heel to instep.

Handel's Sarabande (orchestra played over PA) potentially is already awkwardly slow for people having to go through the movements. Gigue: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJDMmql9pJ1mitU Sarabande: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZuvhYedq5p5i7M

It is clear the young man has great musical potential. Zander can talk musicians down by calling them "competent". No doubt, this student had a competent teacher. Astonishingly, competency does not include context (with the basic homework at its basis), interpretation, the theatrical effect of performance, nor artistic freedom.

9:04 would have been more the tempo at a court with experienced cocky dancers who want to show off their dancing skills to the others
