Bach's mission was to make timeless music, music for eternity. The longer he lived, the more he was convinced im the success of his mission. He drew a lot from deep past and set up a lot for generations to come, be it the Classical and Romantic era to learn from him and rediscover most of his music, or even Jazz and Pop. Bach is an endless inspiration.
