This sounds nice enough on piano, but a harpsichord really brings it to life, as I feel it does for all the inventions and sinfonias. Expertly played here.

Glad to see this observation. There appears to be a temptation to play works such as this at breakneck speed but I really think a more moderate pace can bring out so much more from the work, from the instrument and from the performer. Playing it smoothly and savouring the harmonies should never be a competition to see who finishes it first.

Slower would sound much more boring on a clavichord. That's the reason everyone plays it faster on all instruments. On a clavichord, there is no "holding" a note, so there would just be many gaps.

I am not professional but think it doesn't affect. In modern music A is on 440 hz and G# 415,3 which is a small difference from 415. So it's about transposing one semitone down.

What impresses me most about this excellent performance is the way this young artist maintains the legato in the descending broken chords in the left hand. It's not as if she has large hands, so she must be stretching her width adroitly.

IIIRC (from many years ago) the falling figures from 0:47 to 1:00 pass from the right hand (thumb) to the left hand. She does the transition perfectly.

I heard it too. Harpsichords can be a bit twerky in the tuning sometimes. Perhaps retuning after every Inventionen segment was impossible, or a second take could not be made. It is an incredible performance considering Anna's age and this was her first encounter with a harpsichord (alle these children are piano students).
