That's impossible. no object can travel at the speed of light. only pure energy can. The amount of energy to move your hand, which probably weighs on average 0.575kg, can be found using E=mc^2. its the mass x the speed of light squared, therefore, Energy= 0.575 x (3x10^8)^2, therefore, Energy= 5.175x10^16 Joules. Our sun releases 4 x10^9 Joules of energy every second. Therefore, it is physically impossible for an object to travel at the speed of light, or even exceed it.

Bach is, by far, the best musician ever and a great believer in God and his son Jesus Christ. Curiously, opening the competition to occupy the position of director of the music school and the church of Saint Thomas in Leipzig, several musicians presented themselves. After the presentation of the respective works, Johann Sebastian Bach occupies sixth place. Due to different reasons, the five before him resigned, Bach did accept the position of school and church musician. Councilman Platz observed in the final committee session that, "since we can't get any of the best musicians we will have to choose a mediocre one." What an unfair and lapidary phrase! How many times are people's lives decided in this way!Bach's music is that of a huge believer in Christian dogmas. Most of his works have the following inscription at the beginning: I.I (Iesus iuva: Jesus help me) and ends with S.D.G (Soli Deo Gloria: only glory to God). Such was Bach's faith that, in the words of his son Carl Phillip Emanuel Bach, "the whole family began daily activities by praying the creed."

A beautiful organ, sure. only a real bass sound (in the pedalpart) - for the necessary gravitas in such a sublime German baroque composition - is missing,. It sounds too light. In other words. Why is this in its own right beautiful organ selected for this recording?
@thomasdastillung40974 жыл бұрын
I think it is mainly linked to the composition of the piece itself where the pedal part is much less preponderant than in other Bach works. The piece uses less polyphony and clearly privileges the soprano part. The bass may play alone or mute most of the time. Concerning the sound i find the bass well defined and balanced with the rest. Recording an organ with wall-shaking bass and reverberation would hinder this recording and remove some cleanliness imho.
@martinvanheusden98324 жыл бұрын
@@thomasdastillung4097 The historical Langlez-Múllerorgan (1680-1734) of the Église Wallonne of Amsterdam was mainly intended for accompanying the monodic Calvin-Protestant singing (Genevan psalter) of this French-speaking community. The musical instrument was set up accordingly. This traditional Dutch-protestant character of the instrument differs to a great extent from organs in Lutheran Protestant churches in Germany where, in addition to the monodic singing by the entire congregation a rich culture of polyphonic church music by choir, soloists and orchestra is part of normal liturgical practice. Organs fulfilled a strong, often even concerting role in this and were designed accordingly. In other words, Dutch baroque organs, such as those of the Église Wallonne in Amsterdam, are less suitable than baroque organs from Central Germany and also Northern Germany (in view of Bach's great affinity with this specific organwith its often exuberant sound setting of the pedalboard especially for virtuoso parts in a composition or during an improvisation. The beautiful Langlez-Müller organ in Amsterdam doesn't have this at all.In other words, it is not a real Bach organ, although some parts of Bach's organ oeuvre can sound beautiful on it (triosonatas, some choralpreludes in particular)

To say wonderful about this music is an understatement. To imagine it is actually an early work is almost impossible to believe... I disagree that prelude and fugue do not fit together: they provide contrast between the pensive prelude and the masterful fugue united by language of pure beauty. In 1705-1708 nothing remotely comparable (for organ at least) was composed before. Interpretation by Doeselaar is the best there is (neither Biggs nor Richter recorded): full of dynamism, perfect foot work
