Ce grand Choral s'inscrit dans la clavierubung III. Il est bâti sur les premières notes du Choral chanté, c'est le Credo Luthérien. Bach se montre en théologien dans sa musique. Écoutez bien ce thème à la basse. Repérez sa récurrence et vous constaterez qu'il revient à intervalle de plus en plus éloigné. Ainsi la musique semble en extension comme la foi, elle s' étend, elle grandit... Dans sa phase finale, ce thème est repris trois fois de suite aux registres supérieurs (clavier). Trois fois "je crois": Père, Fils et Saint Esprit. La musique est dans ce cas le plus clair des langage pour exprimer la foi !

Ok but where are the Italian organ compositions that inspired this? Everything Bach just feels like Bach to me. Wild counterpoint, snowflake-like mathematical perfection, powerful basso continuo and cantus firmus this is the realm of Bach alone as far as I have seen.

Wie beurteilt ihr, dass man die Schwankungen im Winddruck hört, wenn tiefe Töne auf lange, hohe Töne treffen? Also ich finds nicht so schön, aber vielleicht ist das ja typisch, wenn hier so viele die Orgel loben ;)
