I like V5 in both versions and use them very often on a dance flor. They are nice and very easy at the same time. You can also do a standard lady turn and turn yourself after it.

Very wonderful Channel. the bonus looks easy in video but Nothing is easy for me..... Marius is tall, like me ( I guess), so I try to copy his gesture... I have one request. Is it possible to make a basic choreography in a full music dance to learn... Not complicated moves. (all complicated combo, we can find and pick up in your videos). Just a basic and easy combo we can dance quickly in social? Thanks again from Vietnam for your channel.
@MariusElenaBachata3 жыл бұрын
Hello. THank you for you appreciation and compliments. About the easy combos for social you can check the bachata playlist... we have many videos with combos. If you are referring to simpler combos (we mainly do intermediate-advanced) let us know and we will add it to the list.

Hi Marius and Elena, So how would a lady know when a guy is trying to do a delayed turn or an outside turn (on the lady) ? Thanks ! Sunny
@MariusElenaBachata2 жыл бұрын
The signal for the turn will be delayed 2 counts. For turning your follower to your right, you will give the signal on 3-4 instead of 1-2. Hope this makes sense
@sunnyM2612 жыл бұрын
@@MariusElenaBachata sorry unable to comprehend. Maybe I can’t yet feel the difference in the 2 turns for the woman.
@MariusElenaBachata2 жыл бұрын
@@sunnyM261 My bad... I mixed up directions :)) It was to her right.. This time I am going to explain right :)) Imagine you want to do a simple turn, you give the signal on 5. For a delayed turn you give the signal on 7. This is where de delayed part comes in.
@sunnyM2612 жыл бұрын
@@MariusElenaBachata hi I understand these 2 turns. I’m asking about outside turn and delayed turn. Not inside turn. Thanks 🙏
@MariusElenaBachata2 жыл бұрын
@@sunnyM261 A delayed turn can be both an inside turn, or an outside turn. The difference is when it is done... The outside turn and the inside turns are started right after the tap. A delayed turn starts on the 3rd step after the tap. Hope this finally clears the situation. In bachata you have 4 "general" turns: 1. inside/outside turn 2. back turn (inside/outside start with the heel) 3. delayed turn (inside/outside but delay the turn for 2 counts) 4. prep turn (kind of a spin)

@VodKaVK4 жыл бұрын
Hey, just so you know, that is not an outside turn. Outside/inside turns refer to ho the feet move in relation to the count. Minute 2.20. You did two inside turns led with different hands. Maybe it's a language thing.
@MariusElenaBachata4 жыл бұрын
Hello. Thank you for the input... We explained in the beginning what we consider inside/outside turn, in relation to the center of the couple. But, yeah... different regions have different meanings :D I don't understand what do you mean about the feet in relation to the count.
@VodKaVK4 жыл бұрын
@@MariusElenaBachata yeah I watched but still doesn't make sense because you're moving your feet the exact same way. So movement in relation to the centre remains the same. Idk, this video made me double doubt myself, but then I remembered that even Ataca had a video on an outside turn, and it's different from what u doing. Hands and arms have no take on turn nomenclature because they don't describe the type of turn, but the type of lead.

Okay, I understand what you are saying. It's not the same thing. I understand why you might be a little bit confused but the technique is different. I can start with the exact same leg (left), and go to the exact same direction (left) and do an Inside Turn (the difference consists of where my body is going). Maybe is to difficult to explain in writing but, again, please, let me know in our video which example you think is wrong. I may have overlooked something, but I am 90% sure we are not talking about the same thing. Thank you for your feedback.
