Bachelor in Forestry (BF): Learning Process

Lectures in BF are applied based on the module handbook. Additionally, the Plan, Do, Check, and Action (PDCA) cycle is implemented in every course and it focuses on student-centered learning (SCL) and Research Based Learning (RBL) methods. This method does not only include lectures but group and class discussions, simulations, role plays, practicum, fieldworks, internships, and mini-projects as well. Several activities are conducted in groups to develop students’ responsibility, cooperation, teamwork skill, communication, leadership, and confidence.
Flipped learning has also been implemented by utilizing a number of learning platforms such as e-Lisa, e-Lok, Simaster, Cisco-Webex, Google Classroom, and Google Meet. Students can access feedbacks about their assignments from lecturers through these learning platforms. To support students to utilize these e-learning platforms, UGM provides internet facilities and other infrastructure.
