Huh, that’s actually pretty clever how they marketed the express coaches. You only need one break coach so they bundled it with Henry, but typically you’ll need more than one composite so those were sold separately.

Tomix has got to be one the most forgotten Thomas ranges in relation to model trains.

Nah, that's Marklin. They did some AC models with the Hornby molds. I've seen the Tomix range talked about quite often.

@TrainTsarFun well yeah they're the same company whose model train components were used for Thomas and his friends in the model series. But for their H0 scale stuff, they made small line model trains that reused Hornby’s tooling with newer couplings and pick-up shoes.

This looks still a bit in scale, the tomix engines are a bit larger than n scale. But the coaches where a bit tall in season 2 what these are based on so it doesn’t look that strange

N Gauge Bachmann Gordon is a lot better than the other more awful models you have in the ruined style of MATTEL. Rule no. 1: stay away from the MATTEL models, they are nothing like what they should be. N Gauge is much better.
