I appreciate the musicians and dancers expression. Even if it doesn't meet couch potatoes critique. Both dancers look like they are enjoying themselves like children in a field without a care in the world, musicians are jamming hard dirty kitkat style. What a pleasant freedom of movement & expression.

modern dance with Bach... why not? 👏

The spectacular movement is somehow reminiscent of Japanese calligraphy.

I have seen lots of modern dance performances on classical music, especially Bach. But never as empty as this. I dislike every second of the dancing.

Totally agreed. I was shocked once I saw these guys dancing like this!

This is how Bach's magnificent music makes them feel. They've shown through dance every moment of his music. It was novel and maybe weird, but it also shows the timelessness of Bach. He's always modern because his inventions transcend historic particularities.

There were some nice ideas in showing the counterpoints for each dancer, but i particurlarlly though that the dance had some moves out of time and too repetitive elements specially at the woman hands movements. Sorry for the English, its not my native language

I like Mr. Saburo Teshigara´s dance usually and love Bach but this one maybe needs other instrument himself as a melody to move the body between the each instrument of melodies and it would be beautiful sometimes if it sustained the slow movement longer.....but thank you very much for the performance!!

3:42 why slow swaying? The music speeds up and the ensemble comes together; they should have burst into excitement

The male dancer's movements look very jerky and ill-coordinated. I'm not sure if that is by design, i.e. choreographically.
