The books title 'How To: Continue Broadcasting on Public Radio in Extremely Foggy Conditions', if a nod to the film The Fog (1980), directed by John Carpenter. The female lead works as a public radio host in a lighthouse and has to work it when the mysterious fog rolls in.

Think the zombie slayer skin for the Tac14 shotgun is just as it says. Not a doom slayer reference. Lots of camos and color schemes like that were popular around 2010 on up when preppers were making zombie themed AR-15 builds, etc.

Found another L4D2 Easter Egg for you. On the level after the bar/juke box fight at the beginning safe room where the level starts, the colonel will be talking to a "medic" after giving you your mission instructions. During the conversation he talks about how few cleaner squads they have due to sickness and death. During that part of the conversation he says "With so few squads left...better ask Coach to stay here to protect the base".

In regards to the books easter eggs the second book "How to continue broadcasting on public radio in extreme foggy conditions" is a reference to "The Fog" 1980. Character voice lines are also full of easter eggs as well especially Karlee who often quotes Starship Troopers, Aliens, and the Lost Boys.

6:05 the one book you point at might be a reference to the movie "The Fog" where a lady broadcast in "extremely foggy conditions" to warn the town that there are zombie like creatures in the fog who want revenge on the town and want to kill 6 people to avenge their deaths. By the end of the movie they get the gold that was stolenfromthem back and kill the priest who was an ancestor of the person who betrayed them and killed them, he was also the 6th death.

i think there is also a coco (the disney movie) reference in the game, i had evelangelo in my team tonight, he got a melee hit from holly, and he said: do i look like a pinata to you, which is a voiceline from coco i believe. mind you, he was wearing the dia de los muertos skin (dont know the actual ingame name for that skin) when he said that, and it sounded kinda like spanish accent.

Another one missed around the 3rd mission first part I think when u spawn in the barn before goin to thr city while ur grabbing ur laodout Hoffman and the other medic guy are having a discussion and you hear Hoffman say we will keep coach in the fort. Two Easter Eggs you overlooked: 1: In The Crossing saferoom, there is a sticky note that says: "I think I'm going home in a box". This is a reference to Bill from Left 4 Dead. If Bill has been incapped during a campaign, he will say that line. 2: In the same saferoom, another sticky note references the 2009 movie Zombieland. The note references the character Tallahassee saying; " THANK GOD FOR REDNECKS! "

hearing the left 4 dead 1 theme from this game makes me really sad..... if only turtle rock and valve got along this would be left 4 dead 3 and a better game in general the game nearly got it right with the characterization of the world but just flipped the formula on it's head by adding the loot system used in borderlands and fortnite along with the perk deck system from payday 2 my mom and her boyfriend played this together and said it felt more like left 4 dead without any cards and common than it did with them, hell as soon as i heard they added those mechanics to the formula i knew the game wouldnt be simple and fun for long unlike left 4 dead valve.... please just put Left 4 Dead 2 on ps4 and 5 along with Xbox One and Xbox x and S, we don't even care if it's not remastered at this point
