Back again chasing sea trout | July 2023

So, once again it's that time of the game fishing season and thoughts turn to sea trout and salmon. This is a video I made of a superb few hours I had fly fishing for sea trout. I hope you enjoy the video and as always, thanks for watching.

Great video Matt! I really must do this again before I die! Ev en a double hook up, and apparently fish around at all states of tide! Awesome!!! ❤

Cheers Dave. It’s not always like that as you can imagine - first double hook ups i’ve had though. I think reading some reports from further up the west coast, there does seem to be a good number of finnock about. But it does that, very much ups and downs - i went early season and saw nothing. I know a couple of members struggled on another venue for ST but I also saw fish jumping elsewhere. Still not had a proper spate so be interesting to see how the next month fishes, on this river it reacts more quickly to rain which means it can have a rise when no where else does. My aim is to fish it up the glen for salmon this season to try to get one. I’d be happy to show you the place one day 👍
