I currently driving a 2013 MKS. Its not your grandfather's Lincoln. I had a 98 TC. The MKS is only 6 inches shorter and 6 inches narrower than the last gen of the TC. I fell in love with the technology in the MKS. I never wanted all that tech but now I love it. I have to have it!! I also had a 89 and 86 TC, a 76 Mark IV and a 77 Continental Town Coupe. There is nothing like a Lincoln. I plan on getting the new Continental in the late fall or winter of this year. Its good to hear that you like yours!! I love Lincoln products. And I am not that old, I'm 56. Not exactly over the hill............

How did you get into being a chauffeur? I'll be buying one of these in the next year or so and have been thinking of ways to offset cost while I finish my degree. I've been in the business for 3 years now. I started doing rideshare and within a year i Joined a friends limo company and things kicked off from there. I bought this 1 year later. Black Label definitely gives me a shot a competing with the SUVs. I didn't want an suv. I wanted a luxury sedan. Black Label feels luxury. As far as business goes. If you're in a major city consider rideshare. I know some people who just live off of money they make of ride share and or food delivery.. although you would need to treat it like a job you could make decent money. As far as the car goes.. I've done a handful of repairs. Still need to fix a few things... avoid panoramic roof trust me 😆. It's cool until it messes itself up.. highway trips 28mpg.. city avg 16

@@fastwrider Rideshare as in uber/lyft? Are these the services that you used? I'd be inclined to go solo. Aside from having to build a clientele I think this would be better. I have been reading and watching alot of content about the continetal, it seems pretty solid as far as a luxury dd, especially at their price point, I was surprised how much they depreciated.. I plan on owning the car for 5-10years. I'd of course skip the panoramic roof. I've never been a fan of them. And I don't feel they add anything "extra", just weight and failure points. I know the to 3.0 is thirsty and I'm not too worried about it. I owned a 01 lightning so anything will be better than that thirsty beast. Appreciate you taking the time.

@@masterhandwerks6592 best way to build clients. Is rideshare. You make money doing uber black mostly or lyft black sometimes. This car was an investment. It's been good to me. Make sure you get it inspected before you buy one. If you plan on using it for work I will push you to say get a 19 or 20 at this point. 17 18 model for my line of work is getting out dated already. Plus 17s had issues.

On this car the rear turn signals are red for the North America spec, but amber for the rest of the world.

Hey what size hex wrench you use to take off the brake caliper off

Caliper comes off with a 18 or 19 mm. Once off only thing holding the 2 pieces together is a pad bracket/brace thing.. that metal thing that comes with pads. Remove that then the caliper will separate into 2.. if the pins are not lubed well it won't separate smooth

I’m a driver as well, I currently have a Lincoln mkt, thinking about trading it for one of these. How is the truck space? I take a lot of people to the airport and typically fill up my trunk with luggage

Pretty satisfied but if they expect an suv buy a suv otherwise it could fit a ton of luggage. Go test drive one👍you will love it

I own a 2018 with 138k miles on it. It has been amazing not a single issue so far, I couldn't be happier with it.

I too will be in market soon. In torn because the headlights that come with the black label are sexy af.. but the price jump is more than I'd like just for the nice headlights.

A good friend of mine just bought a base model and loves it. Just understand if your keeping it for a while make sure you have the features inside that you want. Common issues are mostly with early year models. No matter what atleast go with a 2018. My major issues I've had is I've had suspension components go bad because of the really bad roads(not cheap) but the 20s make it all harder on suspension, oil pan leaks slow(made out of plastic smh), I would avoid pano roof I have issues with it, chrome molding can have expanding issues with heat and cold weather... recently one of my calipers has failed.. it works but it pulses so I need to replace it asap besides that she's a beast. I would go fwd instead of awd if I could do this again. Maintenance cost aren't overkill for be honest i I've got 155k miles now.. so I'm in to heavy maintenance at this moment

@@ArijuNSA216 no it has not been an issue for me. I suggest hand washing. Automatics just lead to some issues with the chrome bits in the long run. Ripping off and sort

Man i want this car so bad but i`m worried about the reliability.Currently i own a toyota avalon 2012 with no issues at all.All i do is oil change thats it with only 88k miles, but i`m bored with it.This lincoln could be a fun and stylish ride but i`m skeptical. I`m not good with tools so i will be relying heavily on mechanics and dealerships so any advice?

Half of me will say it's not too bad. The other half says RUN AWAY FULL SPEED 😅 my issues have piled up. My 2 friends who have them regret buying them. They have issues.. But when there are no issues it is a dream to drive. It is actually a very satisfying drive. Soft suspension in comfort mode. Honestly I would still drive this on my days off over my sports car.

I got a suction mount placed on top of the compartment below the ac controls. The one that has 2 usb ports and a cigarette lighter port in it. I leave it closed and have the suction mount on top of that compartment. The one I used before was mounted to the ac vent and scratched it all up. I wouldn't do that again
