Your concept of traveling all the thai provinces was cool, but I guess that’s all out the window now. Hi Paddy, it sounds like an interesting idea, but I'm a bit confused on the premise of it. If it's a tour of Thailand, you have no rights to work in a job like that and could land yourself in serious trouble. I also wouldn't call you an expert by any stretch after spending a day or two in each province. If it's a tour of other countries, you have even less expertise so I'm not sure what's in it for the customers. What are they getting out of it? It sounds a bit scammy to me and possibly a way to fund your travel? Happy to have more clarification on his this all works.

I'm sorry to be pestamistic. But I've seen several KZbinrs are doing this now, including non travel youtubers. So it's obviously a promotion kind of thing and it smells fishy. Feels like some sort of scam to me.

I guess you have done what you said - in an extremely heartfelt and sincere video - you would never do: which is enter into a commercial agreement with a third party, in this case a travel firm. So what are the terms? Full disclosure would be good. Also, have you considered that your partners are simply data mining? Do you trust them? It just seems that you are possibly planning how to generate income once your 77-provinces target is reached and your current journey is over. I’m also curious about exactly how you are going to participate in the forthcoming group travel that you propose. You seem to be positioning yourself as a bit of an expert on countries to which you yourself have not travelled. Have you thought that that might be somewhat presumptuous? I’ve actually watched every one of your Thailand videos and, while they are well crafted technically (and I generally enjoy them from an ambient point of view), they haven’t provided much in the way of critical insights or information. I think you have definitely got the potential to go so much further as a content creator. Just look at how Chris Broad crafts his content as well as his production values, without resorting to selling his soul. In conclusion, these comments are coming from a place of love, not hate. I do like you and feel that you could exploit opportunities without being exploited yourself. In the meantime, I hope you stop lamming it up in Bangkok, get back on Dreamy and finish what you set out to do.

Actually its illegal for a non thai to run a tour in Thailand. Sad that TAT always strict on licenced Thai tour guides while many foreigners run the tours illegal esp Chinese.

Would you not consider planning and hosting these yourself and not through a 3rd party website? I'd definitely be up for a group tour but I'd rather tag along and book/pay for everything myself at a much cheaper cost than through a marked up "tour" via some 3rd party website.

Just a quick tip Paddy. Thailand registered vehicles cannot enter Vietnam without a special guide. All the bikers from Malaysia always skip Vietnam because of this reason.

I haven't travelled to that many countries, but can confirm that Iceland and Italy are amazing destinations. Iceland I probably don't have to say much. Italy I was lucky to have a few weeks to rent a car and drive around. In addition to the cities ... Rome, Florence etc., the Cinque Terre and also the Dolomites are absolutely beautiful areas that have got to be on your bucket list! Loved Italy so much.

You might have to look in to register to be a tour guide in Thailand. They have a regulation for this be careful.

That coffeeshop reminds me of one in Hanoi. Same idea, but they do that raw egg coffee. I found the place a bit to dirty so cant tell you what it was like :) If I remembered well from 2019 it was egg coffee they made cause there was no (real) coffee in the Viet war. Surprised to see Nova Scotia and PEI on there. There is not much in PEI, it is more for families. I would recommend a 4-5 day road trip on the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia and about 5-7 days in Newfoundland (Gros Morne National Park). Two of my favourite places in Canada. 👍🙏

I recommend Banff Canada because in Alberta a lot of stuff is open with a very good atmosphere but the only problem is the budget because to see everything would cost a lot and especially the hotel

I'm totally in. wish it was now because i'm landing in Thailand on the 24th but.....can you convince someone to drive a tuk tuk for/with me? I am vision impaired....not blind...just can't "legally" drive/ride myself. It would be a good twist I think....I'm in for anything as long as I can travel with the group somehow. I hope you have a Thai partner who is authorized or licensed to undertake tours. The government has certain restrictions about the organization of yours. Please do your homework. Sounds like fun but you could run into red tape and hurdles if it's deemed your violating the tour guide regulations. Cheers,

I am an American married to a lovely Thai professor from Ubon Ratchathani. She as been with me in the US for three years attaining her doctorate degree. Now that she is finished, we are soon moving to Thailand...where I have never been! Fortuanelty, your outstanding video series (we have watched from your four day train ride up through your winter break in Bangkok) has put me at ease. I feel like I have a greater understanding of the Tahi culture (especially rual Thailand) and the daily interaction between English and Thai language speakers. Srilanka beaches are not much compared to any thai beaches nor is the food. Italy sounds amazing but in summer. Thailand Narathiwat Pattani Yala full of undiscovered powder white beaches. Trip should be minimum 2 to 3 weeks.

Been to both Vietnam and Italy. Both fabulous destinations! In Vietnam, Hoi An was an incredible place for the history and old world charm. Halong Bay is amazing but not far different than Phang Nga Bay in South Thailand though. On Italy, seeing you explore the small towns of Tuscany or Lake Como on a motorbike would be amazing!
