Star Cherry actually most of the people that go to them do have kids. They're open during the same 2 week period so that parents can send their kids off and then take off themselves without the worry. The percentage of nonparents is rather low considering.

Honestly, I like the idea of both of these camps. I wish I learned how to file taxes, crunch numbers, and start my own financial projects when I was a kid. And I also think it's important for "older" people to realize you should still enjoy and live life instead of chasing the next paycheck all the time. I don't really see what's wrong with either. It's also not like we forget the things we used to love doing as kids. People just act like we're not supposed to enjoy them anymore

The best job I've ever had was summer camp counselor in upstate New York - shout out to CTY camp at Skidmore College! During the day, the kids were the ones at camp, but at night, it was the counselors who were living basically every summer camp-related teen comedy movie ever made.

If you're and adult and you want the full CAMP experience, just do what the rest of us did, join the military. You get to go camping, learn how to shoot and mend wounds. Plus you get a cool outfit and you get paid to do it all. Sure, there's a chance that you could get hurt or killed, but that's just the camp experience. Like when tiny tim got stung by a bee and swelled up like a ballon.
