Same here. I went out to the woods yesterday morning prepared to stay overnight. It was so hot, I was miserable the whole time. That evening as I was laying down (soaked and dripping with sweat), I was thinking, "Isn't this supposed to be fun?". LOL A couple of minutes later, I was packing up to leave. I got home and my wife said that my face was beet red. I'm done until at least Fall. I could do this when I was in my 20's. LOL

It's good to have you back at Cimbrer Camp. It too is very hot here in the United States, especially here in the southern part of the country, but we do what we can when we can, lol. The rib eye was cooked perfectly and I liked the potatoe's, must try them that way soon. Your idea for holding the wood to carve with two hands is pretty clever, when I start carving walking/hiking sticks, I will defiantly use you idea. 58 days until Autumn here, impatiently waiting for it so that I can get out more. Now I have to buy ribeye!!! You always make me hungry 😂 This heatwave has struck us in Sweden also. Early afternoons it is almost impossible to do any harder work. Maybe we need to adopt the mediterranian habit of siesta 😊 Spent this afternoon with daughter and her friends at a quarry lake nearby. Sadly we are not allowed to make fire now so we didn’t stay very long. Planning for more time tomorrow with alcohol stove, some tools and food to go. Good Evening Tom. I just enjoyed watching your latest video at Cimber Camp. The weather here in Eastern Pennsylvania has been terribly hot. Today it was 37 Degrees Celsius, thetefore; I stayed in the house in the Air Conditioned room. The weather is very bad this summer. I'm looking forward to Fall and Winter so I can get back to my camping. I also do some Blacksmith work, however; it's too hot to light the forge. I cannot take the heat anymore. Your camp is really looking great. You have made your camp very comfortable by using your Bushcraft Skills. Makes me anxious to get back in the woods, as soon as the Heat Wave breaks!! Great, relaxing video. I like how you modified you Sawhorse to work on carving projects. The Steak and potatoes with Asparagus has my mouth watering. Best Wishes to you and your family. My strategy on soft boiled eggs is no more that 4 minutes at a boil. And that Rib eye looked amazing. I always get hungry watching your outings.

Hello Tom, Nice video at the camp, like the cooking, more of that. I saw you were using a frame saw, I like that better than the metal saw you are using now. Also I think it’s a pity the tipi is gone. But i can imagine the shelter you use now is a bit more comfortable. Keep following you, because the cooking, handcraft with wood and leather is very interesting, so keep up the good work. Always curious what your next project or hiking trip will be. Hi Tom. 31c is a normal pleasant day in Australia. Last year it got to 47.8c mid summer. I am going camping about 100 kilometres away tomorrow. As it is winter here now it will get well below zero. Love cold weather camping.

Very nice time, the bushes have grown a lot. 5 mins for a soft boiled egg.Put it in cold water for a few seconds straight away, it stops it from continuing to cook. perfect evey time.

Hi Tom, as always a nice peaceful video. I don’t know about you but it’s just about gotten to hot here in Arkansas for any camping. I do try to go every morning except the Sabbath for a 3 or 4 mile hike around 6:15 am while it’s still cool. We have a big forest close to home with lots of good hiking trails. Great Tom. I have been thinking about your saw horse for a long time. I think if you wanted to add some more stability you could us paracord to create some triangles. Tie into the bottom of the single leg and stretch that to the top of one of the double legs and then do the same with both of the double legs. I believe that would make the thing strong as an ox and stable as a rock.
