Back In The Water! (Finally) Sailing Tangaroa

Sorry for the delay in videos, we have been trying to get over this bloody boat refit! 7 Months of hardcore work whilst trying to save up for our sailing season really got us! But this is the reality of owning a sail boat so as much as i dont like this video because there is no fun involved (both of us arent very energetic either) i thought i better post it to show what we have been going through and that sailing is not all sunshine and beers. Finally put the Lurvve pod on, which has been epic. Anyway the aqua tanga has been on some pretty cool missions of late so watch out for some new videos (finding it so difficult to get reception and be able to upload videos on our travels) but they eventually will come out!

Great to see you back!! Looks awesome! Great craftsmanship! The only problem I have with the wharram design is the small size of the pod height of the roof. If it were me I would make it larger by making the roof come over the pontoon entry's and over the helm station so there is more shade and ample surface for water collection and more solar power and storage.

A shackle without a hole in the pin that you string stainless steal wire through to prevent the shackle pin from unscrewing itself in not a good idea especially when that shackle holds up the mast. I've had one that came unscrewed at the top of my mast on my Nacra 6.0 catamaran when my crew and I were on the trapeze and the mast came down.

the last Tangaroa I saw was like 20yrs ago in Walkerville, but theyre like ever present on the net but this boat is the prettiest most practical Tanga Ive seen what was the adhesive you used on the windows? and what no hardware fasteners? cheers
