Welcome back Marcus glad your happy to be back but it’s been so cold lately a rather nasty cold snap brrr .Richard burton god rest his soul died and buried in Switzerland as far as I know.he must have treasured this area for its peace and buety but he was a well travelled boy just like you dear Marcus so all these stars seem to spread far and wide Hopkins comes back every year I believe to port talbot when he can

It's amazing just what Mel subjects you to in order to get a Jumbo sausage (visiting Las Vegas that is) when the charms of Barry Island are just up the road from you. It is so nice to have you back showing us the hidden delights of Wales. I visited this amazingly beautiful place back in May. Unfortunately, the cycling mafia ruined it for me - and this was during mid-week so I imagine weekends would be absolute hell. That aside, I still think it is worth a visit - but only outside of the school holidays. In the warmer months, I don't suppose you could take us on a trip to Llanelli to reveal its beach and its environs? I could be tempted to move there if you do a good job "selling" it to me.

Yep, why go to Vegas when you have Barry Island. Will be definitely going to the area around Llanelli next year.

Fantastic video Marcus, Anthony Hopkins is a Margam boy, his parents home is up the road opposite the 12 Knights Hotel, I have met him when he did a speach to the ladies guild in the Hotel, a gentleman, He frequently revisited Margam when his mum was alive, she loved coming back to remind her of those days, his dad had a shop in Taibach when he was growing up, also he went to Cowbrdige Grammer school which is still there today. Been strolling through your older videos, seeing places around here and glamorgan which I never knew about, thank you.

Yep, that's been pointed out to me. Although, I think he's been fully adopted by Port Talbot judging by his" Port TALBOT PASSION" and the massive mural of him which appeared earlier in the year.
