That interactive backdrop on Jungle's video is sheer genius. I can't stop watching the video to Back on 74. So beautiful, and love the story in the choreography, especially with the couple near the end. Kind of surreal. I'm only a few minutes in to your reaction, so will probably post another comment shortly...but hey, Algy Rithim's appetite can never be sated ❤

And yes, I have learned several things which makes my brainium quite happy. By the wibbles, you dress sharper than Knox and you get mucho points on the beard. 🤘❤🤘

Ren is absolutely impeccable with everything he does! I love this and honestly anything he does usually more than originals! I have over 5 and a half hours of Ren play on my spotify and that still isn't all of it including what's left on KZbin I can't get on there! I've said it before there really is no one's music I love more than Ren's and no one i listen to more on a whole. He's very inspiring and I've been more than happy , honored to help support this incredible artist! ❤❤ He and his whole crew are literally the best and just one of a kind people that makes me enjoy every minute of it and make it an experience!

I appreciate the music lesson Ren brings to all his fans through his eclectic song choices that he includes as fragments in his various performances. Many US fans aren’t familiar with the UK tunes that Ren enjoys & vice versa. Also, he tends to choose songs from an earlier time. Who knew a music lesson could be so beautiful? 🎶🎶🎶

Hey Sir Doc, I love that you explained how the video for Jungle has such a great level of interactivity and explained the basis of the dance choreography. Personally, I love the way Lydia Kitto sang on the track and wrote most of it, even though Jungle get the majority of the credit because of their brilliant music. Kitto is a brilliant multi-instrumentalist. I love her track Sweet Minds, she’s well worth checking out. Anyway, I grew up listening to The Police, I came to them through listening to the likes of Jimmy Cliff, Thelonious Monk and Pat Metheny. I think for me what made Message In A Bottle so fantastic was Stewart Copeland’s drumming. It was just so unique and added such a level of sophistication, but of course most people love it for the baseline. He really helped shape that track into something really special. It’s funny how the Police were criticised for cultural appropriation for their use of Reggae back then. Kinda like how Em is criticised today for being a fantastic rapper even though he’s white. When will people ever learn that music is for everyone no matter what the genre. Fun factoid, did you know the Greek philosopher Theophrastus, is credited with having sent the first message in a bottle. He did so in order to test his theory that the mighty Atlantic Ocean flowed into the Mediterranean Sea. Ren’s retake is just so slick and smooth. His voice is beyond dreamy, but what makes it for me is Sylvia and Scarlett. I love how Ren subtly points out the link between ocarina’s tunes, messages in bottles and the number 74 which is the number for the message to focus on ‘growth and stability’ sent back through time. The idea of portals through time in which sounds or messages can be sent or passed down to show people growth and progression through community is a necessary path. Isolation serves no purpose. All that said, I just wanna concur with you Doc, Ren is looking and sounding so fly here. Really is there anything he can’t do?

I thought I recognised the suit! He was a busy boy that day... Ahhh, this track really does speak, doesn't it? The almost queasy sensation nostalgia brings, almost mourning for what has gone, is a difficult thing to convey, but when it works it's so powerful. This track does that. That rap, too. Neat and poetic and somehow sad. Our boy Ren is a 🌟 Great review Doctor. Hope you are well ❤❤❤

Then because of the algorithm. Maybe it's my fault that I've always read a lot, and movies happen in my head. That's why I'm not really interested in music videos in general. I rarely watched movies in the cinema. I got hooked on the series a few years ago, but I have to be careful, because I just watch one season at a time. There is also an explanation for why I prefer to watch a series. But now that's over, because Ren and all his friends, with whom he collaborated and literally in front of the machine, came I sit all day. I don't know what else is coming.😂

@@somogyieva I know you translate your comments (as English is not your first language), but whether it's this or not, so much of what you write is intriguing in it's style and choice of words. I think you told me once that you write creatively? If I'm wrong, then you really should! I'm enjoying the Ren experience, but need to step away from it all every now and then because I too get hooked. I also watch whole seasons of tv dramas (mostly Victorian era) but only on DVD. I don't actually watch tv. LOVE my books! ❤

Thanks. Unfortunately, I don't write because I'm not talented enough, it's pointless to write badly. I'm trying to put it in a way that makes sense in English. There is a historian who I also support on Patreon, I think he is one of the smartest people in the country/Hungary/, he writes in the style he wants, he writes poetry, he has a fantastic sense of humor, maybe he is the one I can compare to Ren in his category. He is the standard for me, if I could live up to that, I would be a writer too. Ren forces me to articulate my feelings and thoughts, and it immediately turns into practical advice for someone. Even if I'm not good at writing, I'm very good at conversation, because I reflect on people and I can get the advice that applies to them out of my head. Reading is my refuge.🥰
