In the. USA you do have to list all ingredients. If you are to use anything to decorate the top, that must be listed. You also are required to put the city & state of manufacture. I'm a super small soap maker. Congrats on your relaunch 🎉🎉🎉

I am happy for you. I think you should keep Georgia Bay in your line, doesn’t matter you are not in Canada anymore. It’s your signature soap/ fragrance and many people will appreciate it, imo

The open box- does the scent fade quicker? If you are not selling it immediately how do you preserve the scent- I only use essential oils -would the scent fade without shrink wrapping ?

Hey Jerika… so nice to see you launch in US. I am also a Canadian citizen but my husband is in IT and soon he will have to move to US for his job.. can you let us know how to get a work permit to do a business in US being a Canadian citizen. I also run a small candle business in Waterloo, Ontario so I am thinking if something happens like that how do I start my business in US… thanks in advance.

You’ll have to apply for a couple of visas - there’s so many, each pertaining to a specific situation. In mine, I have an American spouse who was able to petition for me. I then submitted at least 3 different visas that allowed me to work, live and leave America while my green card application was pending. It’s such a complex process that I would consult an immigration attorney to point you in the right direction.

how long does FDA take to approve all your formulas? hopefully it was easier and not as long of a wait as with getting CNFs with Health Canada!

The FDA doesn't actually regulate soaps in the U.S. If you are selling the true definition of soap (primarily of fats and alkalis) it is regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). However, there is no approval process on your formula. (21 CFR 701.20) Sorry to butt in the conversation but hopefully this helps. 🙂
