Hey Mark, this was why I started to watch and follow you nearly 5years ago. Back to simple and unpretentious Mark adventures, not the sponsors and social media expectations. I mis the Mark and Nay adventures and the home DIY’s etc. Secondly condolences on the loss of your Dad. Keep yourself and your life simple and uncomplicated. Keep away from naked flames and get out and do an Aussie Nachos. Bloody Ripper👍👍 and Cool Bananas 🍌🍌

Hey Mark, I’m happy to hear you have been back in the saddle. I haven’t been on my bike as much as I like this year. I’m kinda down in a funk. Sadly our season is pretty much done here (New Brunswick Canada). We have lows near -5 daily now as winter is quickly approaching. Just wanted to say thanks for the content, it’s what keeps us going through our cold winter months. I bought my first bike last year (I’m 44 now), I bought a 23’ DRZ 400S. Man I love that thing. Keep on keeping on brother!

Riding for decades, but just added my first adventure bike to the garage after an "everything hiatus" secondary to... life - A BMW R1100GS (it was between this and an R100GSPD - I wanted to stay mostly analog). While it's a large bike and may not be the best for trails, I'm hoping to go camping and on longer trips - via scenic routes. See the sights and explore. Hope it happens. All the best.

Mark, i pray you find your way. The date I am writing this is 08/30/24. I lost my mom 4 weeks ago tomorrow, the day before, exactly a month ago today i was told i was going to have my right leg amputated below the knee. It is tough to deal with these things as you know. I haven't been outdoors in 3 weeks and have a long way to go until I can walk again with a prosthetic. I can get through this as you can. Just keep getting up and doing what you can, and soon enough, you will be able to function again. It will never be the same, but you can persevere. Good luck.

Hello Mark. Great to see you back on the bike. The mental struggle is real for me also. Some days I talk myself out of a fun day on the DR650 because I can't get motivated to gear up and pack food for the day. Sounds silly I know. Eventually when I do prepare and go, I feel regret for not doing it more often. It's something I am definitely working on. Nothing beats a day or even half day up in the Watagans NSW just me, the bike and back-pack with hot drink, hamburger or sausage sandwich ingredients and cooking gear set up on a hill side somewhere with an awesome view.

Mark, that was great. It was so much fun to go on a trail ride again, and great to see Allister again too. What happened to the KTM he used to have? The Gas Gas is cool though too. Anyway watching yall was like hanging out with old friends again, really enjoyed this video! I just got back to Texas from vacation in Colorado, tons of awesome dirt bike riding on some seriously sketchy mountain trails and I love that stuff! Me and my wife had a blast, lots of trout fishing too and nice and cool in the mountains. Now it's back to the insane heat of Texas and back to work! Have a good one!

Another great conversation, and coffee stop I usually just take a thermos, so no mucking around with fires etc, took my Suzuki DL 650 , around a few fire trails in the Brisbane ranges near Anakie ,Victoria. Few nasty bog holes and rough tracks, keep on keeping on, good work Mark & Alister or Angus ? Cheers from Downunder 🦘🦘🦘❤️🇦🇺

Just found your channel by the (it seems like your most popular video) review of the Suzuki C50 Boulevard, from 10 years ago :D Good to see you enjoying the ride again. I'm actually not a rider myself (yet), but hopefully within a year, and I was thinking a Suzuki c800/c50 might be great bike for me. Getting my first intro to riding for the drivers license tomorrow, lets gooo.

Dont get to ride that often now, but I still go bush at every opportunity. The cuppa on the fire is what its all about. Having two boys with disabilities , I opt for the baja bug, gets me most places. Not quite a 4WD, but a shit load more fun. Want a change of scenery, come down to Tassy for some bush riding. And stay clear of national parks, they charge you an arm and a leg and restrict everything you do. Forestry Tasmania is the go, unless you are in the way of a logging opperation, you can do what ever you like and no one will give a shit. Camp , drink , have a fire , bring pets , just dont cut trees down , thats the only no no. On a personal level dont leave rubbish behind , I f---in hate that.

Hay glad your on the bike mate , riding is fantastic for mental health “ as we know “ but I have even been on a ride that wanted to come home “ the black dog was strong that day “ , 3 years ago I almost died in a motorcycle accident. Will keep it short “ hopefully “ 😂😂😂, many years ago I got out of the drug life because I found faith in God , you know that Jesus fella , and now I have a peace in my life that keeps the black dog away ! , not saying I don’t have crap 💩 days BUT the peace that God gives in that is well unbelievable, my marriage has never been better and I’m just trying ( with Jesus help to be a better man ) it’s not about being religious or church even it’s about having a chat with the man upstairs- but being fair- Dinkum about it . Anyway enjoy being back on the bike mate 👍
