Maybe leave out some food and water 😬❤️😊 I take care of a cat who is a TNR ( trap neuter and return) I have two inside rescues cats who doesn’t go outside so I can’t have her inside, plus she wants to stay out. I bought a house for her too. I put fresh straw in it seasonally …but the mouse peeking out from your cushion was so cute to me! I love your back deck , very pretty!

Beautiful outdoor space Hollie !!! Watch for those field mice closely because they are very destructive and will eat through your blankets and the cushions... especially with the cooler weather right around the corner. When I lived in North Carolina they got into my garage during the cold winter months and ate through my plastic storage bins and destroyed many of my quilts and blankets. They are cute... but the destruction they can cause very quickly is shocking. Just a heads up.....

Love your patio! Everything is beautiful. We have a new home also with an outdoor kitchen. If you can , work in an outdoor sink and countertops. We have a small microwave and toaster oven on the counter so we can bake potatoes, poppers etc. the sink is a must for not having to constantly go in the house. It is so easy to clean everything before we cook and afterwards. I bought a drop cloth and made beige covers for my tv, microwave, and toaster oven so everything stays clean. I also made pillow covers with the drop cloth to use for extra pillows. Drop cloth curtains would look great on your patio to define the area also. Then just throw them in the wash. I hope Minnie Mouse does not return

Your back porch turned out beautiful, I really love the little bistro set area, so cozy ❤. We have a screened porch we sit on at night, string lights all around it and the lights draw all kinds of bugs and they stick to the outside of the screen and look nasty, thanks to you, I started diffusing peppermint and citronella and now we don’t have those bugs stuck all over our screens. Spiders have a purpose as long as not where I want to be..even with spraying they return and I use a botanical type product. You may just have to deal with mice since you are outside and have crops nearby. Maybe that cat will perk up.🐈

Im from South Louisiana so no creatures scare me...well until basically what happen to you happened to me but I was on my swing in my covers when a mice ran up my leg trying to get away & out of the covers....that feeling of his lil body running up my leg creeped me out soooo much that ill never forget it...so now, im scared of mice/🐀 I would suggest going ahead and calling pest control to come spray your house inside & out since its a new home & your getting 🕷 already. Hi! It’s been a while since I have gotten on. Your home is absolutely beautiful! Go to your local farm supply store and get some Permithian. It will take care of those spiders. You mix it in a sprayer and every couple of months.

Great job. I will tell you that when we had out big White House, we had tons of spiders and webs until we started to have our house sprayed for flowers once a year. Makes a BIG difference. Hugs🌸

Love your outdoor room! So beautiful. You might put a camera out there to see what other wildlife are sneaking around at night. (Raccoons, etc) I did have a mouse get in one of my covered porch chair cushions. Didn’t know it until I brought the cushion in for the winter for the attic. And the mouse ate a small hole in the plastic storage bag to get out and then I had to trap him in my house. I go out on my porch daily to sweep spider webs away and check things.
