Cimbrer Bushcraft hi Tom, I’ve grown up around the world as a military brat. I have so much to be thankful for and all my thanks goes to my creator Jesus Christ. I have recently become a Seventh Day Adventist realizing that the forth of the Ten Commandments had been changed by the Catholic Church to Sunday instead of the true sabbath day the last day of the week being Saturday. This is the day that we observe as the true sabbath not Sunday although we keep all the days of the week holy. It’s what a Christian should do. But Saturday is the Lords day, it is a special day unto him. So there you have it, the why I am the person I am. By the way I’m a very in shape 220 lbs lean 65 year old at 6’ tall. I try to walk and exercise daily and have recently retired a couple years back and do enjoy the Lords handy work in nature. I love that backrest with the pelt-skin you have and I often see myself there with you, what your doing or maybe what your building, just enjoying your videos. Tom, cameras often focus on either one specific spot, or on a multitude of spots. Usually, the choice can be made which method to use, in the cameras menu. If yours is set to single spot, centrally located, this would account for your problem. You are off-centre in the image, so the camera is focussing on a spot dead centre of the frame, on the piece of equipment in your lavvu. Some (most?) cameras allow you to lock focus - check your instruction manual - so you can focus on your face, lock the focus, then move the camera to put your image to one side of the frame. Alternatively, and much simpler, put yourself in the centre of the frame. Good light also helps. Cameras can struggle to autofocus if the contrast between light and dark is very high.

Tom, very good on the back rest. And the start of the bedding platform. You may want to build some type of seat for your backrest, so to keep you off the wet cold ground. And so U can Be outside of your tent on n warm sunny days to hear the birds singing Stay safe in the woods.

Fantastic Tom! It will be interesting to see how the pegs hold up on the backrest compared to the quick solution of lashing it together with paracord. I'm fairly confident that the additional effort should pay off. All good things take time. Your camp is starting to take shape now.
