A lot of different Anxiety Disorders can have symptoms of Psychogenic Itching, also know as Phantom Itching. I suffer from this type of skin sensation, and I have to say, this video is such a great help in keeping me from scratching and scraping my skin raw. Thank you Jim ❤️

This is so good. I feel like I say that about every video you share with us, but it's true. I don't know what it is about videos where you're talking to and taking care of us as yourself, but I find them extremely cathartic. I've been struggling a lot lately, to the point that I haven't had the energy to indulge in most of what makes me happy. I'm frustrated with myself for being so behind with your videos and I have a feeling you probably wouldn't want me to be hard on myself, but it's been a struggle to accept that I'm allowed to put things on hold while I try to take care of myself. We need more platonic, consent affirming intimacy videos like this. Over the last few years I've had associates use the descriptor touch starved and when it was fully explained to me I realized that's how I've felt my entire life. I'm a 36 year old cis female and I've spent a majority of my life as someone who people didn't want to touch and if they did it likely was unsafe for me. This needs to be more normalized.💜💜💜💜💜

Nicely written....Though I think the problem is people associating touch with sexual or inappropriate intimacy, whereas an intimate touch can go either way or sometimes, both. It can have so many meanings. It should be only involved peoples' will to decide what it is. Just like when you're hungry and you decide to have some extra dessert with your meal or not :D

Thank you for this lovely video you are a blessing. Asmr actually does help me with my healing. I was diagnosed with stage 1 cancer in March after a biopsy surgery and every 2 weeks I have to go to the chemo center for my chemotherapy sessions. Thanks to asmr I have been able to destress and relax . Next session will hopefully be my last one then I will be cured.
