Just a vent I have a very close friend and we are very affectionate to eachother, hugs cuddles, her just poking my face to make me laugh and I grew to always know that every one in my friend group at my school can and will give me any affection. Physical or just verbal. But since the break I haven't been able to hug her for over three weeks, let alone see her. I only text her. I was just watching a couple of your Doctor Roberts videos last night because you're so good at triggering the close-up feels, and then to see this new one's title excited me like little else has in this troubling time. My favorite part was the untimed breathing at 12:37--I personally find timed breathing a little stressful, but this moment of naturally breathing together, and the sounds of your varied breaths, was so very calming and deeply connecting, would love to see an extended version of this sometime. My other fave was the face cupping and touching section at 16:01, especially 16:44 on and that eye contact. So very digitally intimate. Enjoyed how you handled the sirens (amazed there's still so much traffic there tho!)...pause, acknowledge, take control, and move on. The focus on control throughout was lovely, and a little blushy. ;D Ahhhh that voice and diction of yours, never tire of it! Much gratitude for this special video, helping so many of us!

This is so perfect and so needed right now. Like a lot of people, I've been touch starved because of the quarantine and this really helped. The part during the massage where you said the things about how the viewer controls the situation and can stop if they want almost made me cry! I've been through a sexual assault and am still mentally recovering from it, so hearing that caught me off guard! Great job, Jim, and thank you!

DAMN, HIS VOICE! I am so in love with his tone. I could listen to him for hours. (It's a pity though that the videos are always so dark and grey)

aayyee lemme just share that im extremely reluctant on physical contact towards males but at the ssame time i yearn to be hug and cared for by a man in a not sexual way but a gentle affectionate way but the problem is i have major trust issues and i loathe physical contact so this warms my heart in so many levels. thank you jim

Thank you so much for doing this... I’ve been touch-starved for a long time and being given that comfort from someone is really something else. 😅 Every time I smiled, you smiled too. You’re such a kind soul. Thank you for making my day better. 💖

This video made me realise how touch starved I actually am.. the household that I live in isn't the best due to all the fighting, screaming & door slamming/kicking that goes on nearly every day. It's rather depressing that I have been dealing with this ever since I was 4 years old (basically for 10 years already.), I didn't deserve to deal with this at such a young age. I'm truly glad that you made this video, it makes me feel so much better whenever I feel horrible. Thank you, Jim. 🧡

"First, if it's ok with you," YES, Absolutely YES. Are we not supposed to fall for this man? We are but mere mortals! I feel like the state of loving Jim is so universal at this point it's become archetypal. He is timeless, our affection for him is timeless. We will speak of Jim in the future and people will just nod knowingly. It's weirdly comforting knowing we all feel so much collective love and appreciation, especially when he drops a new video and we're all absolutely swooning together. It all just makes sense. Thank you so much for all you do. ❤️

This is the most relaxed I have been in months. Thank you for gifting me the ability to rest this morning. I feel saved. I didn’t expect to feel the hug, or realize how much I needed it. Massively thankful for the magic of Asmr and also the magic that is Jim. Thank you sir.

I lost my mother last year and i want you to know that your content has helped heal my soul. I have melted when i thought it impossible. You have given me the closeness i never knew i needed. I have went months burying everything and not paying much attention to myself. Just trying to hold everyone else together. Not many ppl consider me for being in need pf comfort or there when im in need. Your voice is like magic....manna for the broken and lonely. You have helped me when i was close to the "jumping off" point

This is such a kind idea. I’m lucky enough to be quarantined with a loved one (honestly I could use a little more distance lol) but I’ve been really worrying about people who are stuck inside alone in these anxious times.
