Today's video strengthens the back muscles and helps dancers elongate through the Knees and feet fully. This non weight bearing exercise helps dancers find length in the front, sides, and backs of the knees. We often work the front of the core, but this is a great drill for the back of the core and helps increase extension range of motion as well as back strength and flexibility. No worries if your dancers can't go very high at first. There is value in just a couple of inches. Also keep in mind that as shown in the video the bolster can be really helpful for some dancers and not as suitable for others so definitely be mindful of that. Thank you so much for watching!
