Oh Sue, your foam on the beach sand is so realistic! I love how you've observed the colours of a real ocean and blended them so beautifully. The white crests on the deepest blue area look so like cirrus clouds that I wonder if you've used this technique to create dramatic skies?

Always prefer the more in depth tutorials. Doing custom large pieces like this take a lot of knowledge & it’s important that u don’t get halfway into a project such as this & then feel stumped as to what the next step is. Ur videos allow people to go thru this process, step by step with u & keep detailed notes in an art journal if they’d like. I was worried when u decided to stop using the clear under the waves as u can sometimes end up losing the white waves/froth, as the water color can tint the white, leaving u with a blue/green wave instead. I’m so happy it worked out beautifully for u & I imagine the client was thrilled with the final outcome😊 I sincerely send u so much appreciation as this inspired me to create a similar piece for my Mom who I lost during Covid. Our initial plan was to go away & spread her ashes over the water somewhere. That hasn’t worked out & felt so guilty over it. We just celebrated her D. Day on 10/1/24, she always loved seeing what I was cre8ing in my studio! When well enough, she would pop in & observe what I was upto that day & hint around at the pieces I had previously made that she loved & wanted as her “I love u present” 2 hang up in her room. This is a perfect dedication to her, now she will be spread on her very own custom beach that myself & 2 daughters are all going to create for her❤😊

Sand darkens when you add resin, just like when it is wet. 😁

I can't manage to get any cells, whatever i do.. tried silicone in the white.. tried fan, heat gun, different resins.. it always stays just white Don't know what I'm doing wrong

The two main factors I have found for creating the waves is the resin and the white pigment. I don't use silicone, but have had great results with mineral spirits, turpentine or white spirits. Al I can suggest is to keep experimenting. Good luck 💕
