That is just stunning Sue! I have been making a lot of beach things lately for a dog rescue auction. I have really been struggling with my waves. I love your finished product. But I believe you liked the transparency before you added the two or three extra waves at the top. I have never tried turpentine. I've always been afraid I would mess my painting up. I always blow my waves out like everybody else does on youtube. But I loved the subtle look that the turpentine made without blowing them out so much. I can't wait to see your next video on waves. Thank you, yes, I did like the transparency before adding the layers of white. I also realised that I liked the look of the white when using the turpentine when I was editing the video. We are constantly learning. 😁

I'm new to your channel, but I am interested in your work. When I saw how much of your white paste that you used, I totally cringed. Although I know nothing about what you are doing, I know resin somewhat after around six years working with it. Wouldn't you be better off to use a white dye instead of paste? Or if you use your paste, use extremely small amounts? Also, have you ever used small pieces of driftwood? Maybe I am just partial to driftwood after spending hours walking beaches. 😊

Thanks for watching. I have not found a white dye that I like in resin. I prefer the paste because it is opaque. I also usually get good results when wanting to produce lacing in the white. I haven't used driftwood because I never see it on our beaches. 😁

I love the water colors! This is beautiful! I'm into doing nails at home and would love to see you use some uv resin and soap bubbles! I think it would satisfy your expectations and fit your theme perfectly. You can clear coat over them also without losing any effects. I got giddy when I saw your post in my notis! 🫧🩷

Thank you, I have UV resin, although, I haven't used it much. I have watched a few videos on the soap bubbles, but I have yet to try it. 😁

A great idea! She could also drip clear resin into the white to get a bubble-like texture. That would work, too?

@@jaykb6587 Another great idea! Yes it would. It wouldn't have the texture as the bubble method does. I think both techniques could also have their place and look amazing together!
