It comes as no surprise that how good this guitar is turning out. But It never fails to impress me as all of your builds do.

Looks great Patrick! Sanding maple to scratch free is a pain in the bum.

I can’t remember whose channel it was but I saw what looked a neat trick with binding scraping. Push the razor blade into a wine cork with just enough sticking out for the binding width and then run the cork along the edge. It’s much more accurate than pinching it between thumb and finger. Never tried it myself but have a build I’m planning to do next year where I’ll give it a try.

I love the lines on the body, it reminds me of my friends Barrelcaster that he built from old whisky barrel staves that were steamed and pressed flat, the body was alder with the barrel staves built as a cap.

I love repurposed wood like that. It gives some extra character.

We had some painting work done at a bank where I used to work, and the guy didn't wear a mask. I was amazed at how much "collateral" spray was on boxes that were near the walls he was painting. I couldn't help but wonder what his lungs must look like.

The scraping could've been time lapsed for the video
