Your emphasis on the fundamentals is excellent. Especially for myself. Thank you.

Thanks for this video Darren, I was just working on an issue with my stance. I’ve been cutting across the cue ball which not only squirts the CB but also puts (in my case) clockwise spin on my draw shots. Your mention that this happens when the feet are not aimed down the line couldn’t come at a better time. Thank you Sir 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I was going to comment this as well. Recently I've been putting unwanted left side english on the ball when I apply power to my shot. I will adjust my stance like Mr Appleton suggests and see if that's helpful.

@@TheJurgisRud I’ve been videoing my stroke from straight on and see my cue diving to my left as a right hander. This happens mostly when I ramp up the power. I’m also seeing my hand move away from my body ever so slightly which contributes to veering my cue. This is a huge issue if a player wants to have a solid sound stroke. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Incredibly helpful video, realized I shoot with my feet positioned at an angle to my line. Straightening them has immediately helped my alignment and accuracy. Thanks for this one!

Great tip. I tend to stand square on to the table, but am working on body position to help with more accurate power shots like the long draw.

Honestly idk how long now but I've been changing my stance up on some different shots and every now and then to feel more comfortable. Like usually I will go with my default stance but I have changed it sometimes to feel a bit more comfortable. I did try the snooker stnace and apparently I learned I just potted balls better. Now the Filipinos have an easy laid back stance and I even tried that and that felt great too

I am 65 and not in great shape. I struggle with my bridge hand. How much weight or pressure do you put on your bridge hand? Thanks in advance for any help!

To point snooker players do get tremendous power with their stance since they can draw back the cueball all the way the back to them

Darren iv,e notice as you get older your chin has to be higher off the cue. ! Or youv,e got to change your stance. I wear glasses. So it can,t be eye parralax.! Or is it. Minosta fats and other old usa players seem to have noticed this. Is their any survey you can do to prove my theory.?
