London grammar, hey now always a good soundtrack which to be fair for me makes a good film, great fishing am doing the same this year, after a few years of not fishing due to lettting tickets go due to covid I’ve now got no tickets to fish membership or syndicate waters so back to the start for me, on the old farm pits trying to catch them old beautiful friends I met when I first started fishing, not for size as had some awesome mid 30s over the years just for the live and feeling that first got me hooked 🎣

While fishing in the middle of nowhere was restricted to days only, the government were having parties of 100 or more people in one place, breaking their own rules. All the sacrifices anglers (and most other people in the country) made, I remember very well and will never forget.

Oli Davies, what a true gent. The sort of gent that if was a member on an exclusive syndicate with well known anglers and your everyday anglers waiting to join for some years for a ticket, a syndicate that does not allow guests of members even, would never abuse his membership by sneaking a bunch of mates onto the syndicate for a noisy social ruining the fishing for anglers who had waited their turn and organised their week to fish. What kind of a tiny love tool behaves like that. Not Oli he’s an absolute gent right up there on humility.
