If you are new to "ASMR" and/or my channel, welcome aboard and thanks for dropping by! The majority of videos I create, often in an unorthodox manner, are meant to help you relax, sleep, hopefully experience ASMR, and any other use that might help you find some peace of mind, concentrate, study, decompress, etc.
What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It's just a non-scientific, made-up term that a layperson came up with to describe the feeling characterized as a pleasant tingling sensation felt in various parts of the body (head, scalp, back, legs, etc.) in response to various visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering, personal attention or watching someone perform a task. It's like goosebumps, but much more pleasant and without the uncomfortable chills.
ASMR videos are meant to intentionally induce this sensation in the viewer, often referred to as "tingles". However, the videos also serve to provide a relaxing, calming, comforting and soothing experience for people beyond ASMR purposes. Many people who do not experience ASMR still enjoy these videos.
I experienced ASMR all throughout my life but no longer do as of a couple years ago. However, I still enjoy creating these videos for anyone else that still experiences it or is just looking to relax, sleep, study, etc.

I love how there is a little something for everyone on ER’s channel. I feel like if I’m in a strange mood for a very specific ASMR, I can usually find something similar or even better here on his channel. This video for example does not apply to me (back to school), however, the triggers in this are honestly so amazing.The monster hands at the beginning really pulled me in and were super relaxing. Every time I’ve listened to this, I haven’t found out the ending because I always fall asleep. I don’t experience tingles anymore (haven’t in quite a while) but I can still appreciate the creativity, thought, and effort put into these videos. It’s not only about the tingles, it’s about relaxation. ASMR has really helped my insomnia and stress. Anyways, this was a silly comment hehe. I just felt inspired to share my thoughts. This is one of my most favorite newer videos from Rift. He deserves all the appreciation and love he gets from everyone. I definitely don’t think I am the only one who feels that he really helps all of us.

Good luck! Some advice from someone who just finished high school, try not to stress too much about your grades. I overworked myself on assignments and stuff throughout highschool and really regret it. Being on honour roll means nothing to me now to be honest. Hang out with friends and have a good time, and take the time to figure out what it is you enjoy doing :)

Hat That 2 ppl come through this comment with very personal responses above me. Freshman year doesn’t have to suck, don’t be scared to talk to new people. Making friends in high school isn’t that hard, there are always people who share your interests. But contrary to what the other dude said, doing well in school is very important. I’m not saying dedicate your life to your schoolwork and disregard your social life, but keeping good grades is always good, especially if you plan on going to university or college. You’ve probably heard this before, but even though there most definitely will be some very stressful times in high school, it truly can be one of the best parts of your life. Just find the right balance

1) Sophomore in College 2) It's okay overall, still stressful sometimes but not as bad as high school 3) The Cartography class I started this semester is going to be great! The professor is nice and she reminds me of me in like 30 years lol. 4) Chemistry- The prof is nice but I already know I'm going to struggle since I didn't take much chem in high school 5) Waking up early for labs (8am oof) and the stress from deadlines always looming over me 6) Yes 7) I've liked them all well enough so far, so no 8) THE PARKING! It sucks, majorly sucks. I have to park over a mile away from campus some days because the limited space on campus to actually park. They really need to make a parking garage. 9) I want to go into forestry and/or do research with an institution or government agency. I work in a Dendrochronology lab currently (tree science! yay!) and it's pretty damn fun and interesting. I'd like to do something with the knowledge i'm gaining from working in the lab.

Hey Uncle E, for your Clash Royale deck, you NEED spells. I recommend switching the hunter and wizard out for fireball and arrows, you need at least one damage dealing spell and one swarm spell, like zap or arrows! The Pekka is good as your tank and the mini pekka as your tank killer, baby dragon and val for taking out swarms, maybe switch out the witch for minions or bats so you have some light weight but still deadly air support also! Also, you can save up elixir by defending with the baby dragon and mini pekka, and when you have enough make a big push with the big pekka and the spells that I mentioned earlier, to help push down the lawn!

Late-High-School experiences have been immensely stressful thus far. Applying to 16+ colleges turned out to - surprise surprise - not be a good idea in that I have to work on applications for hours each day. I have a workload of Calculus, Honors Physics, College Prep English, Music Appreciation, Economics, Cross Country and P.E. I am stressed, with every day being a frenzy of disassociated tasks and activities. It’s not ideal, but hopefully I’ll get over it. Thanks for the video ER
