My mother bought some of the paring knives in 1967, and I use them still. I didn't know the manufacturers again until about 1996, when a co-worker brought in a catalog. I've taken in the catalog to work to help my neighbors kids raise funds and because I am a total fan. Recently, a local grocery store has started carrying some of the knives and I've continued to add to my collection. They are the best knives I've ever used.

Noreen, after hearing your glowing compliments on the Rada cutlery I had to check it out for myself. I went to their website & I was very impressed. Their pieces look like high standard pieces & the prices look very reasonable. Thanks for sharing this product with us. I will be picking up a few things from them in the near future.

I grew up in IA and believe we sold these knives for our fundraisers in the 1970s. Still using them!

Thank you for this!! At school I do the buy-out fee rather than sell magazines. ;) Our boy scout troop just learned we aren't allowed to solicit donations anymore and I have a future Eagle scout planning his project...just requested the pack!!

Socks! You forgot the "buy socks" I kid you not! Picked up the Rada handy stirrer and love it. Got the 9X13 stoneware baker dishes from them as well. Great stuff made in America. Thanks for the tips from them.

Question: silver handle or black? Difference? Preference?
@NoreensKitchenOfficial8 жыл бұрын
I have more silver than black, but Rada shares with me so I don't request. I prefer the black because they are dishwasher safe, you cannot put the silver handles in the dishwasher because the aluminum tarnishes. However, all these knives are best hand washed. The blade can wear down much faster when put in the harsh dishwasher environment. That being said, I love it when he sends me the black handles. You can take that for what it is worth. I am eternally grateful for their great generosity with both me and my subscribers.

I hate fundraisers and seriously would rather donate $20.00 than buy $50.00 worth of whatever they are selling. I also love my rada knives. My mawmaw got me a set when me and my husband moved into our first house and I 😍 them. I will be sharing this on fb

I hear ya! Before I knew about Rada, when my girls were in middle school I actually told the Principal that I would rather give the school money than have to buy another bucket of cookie dough. The following year she did a cash only fundraiser. Parents cheered across the town for a logical and practical fundraiser! The school made 11K free and clear that year and the poor ladies of the PTO did not have to do paperwork and order sorting! I think they are still doing that! But If some kid brought me a Rada catalog, you can be sure I would happily purchase!
