girl I know how you feel. I've been going to uni for two years and I haven't gotten anything new (I'm literally still using the same bag) and In highschool the only new things I got were mandatory, like textbooks, notebooks and black or blue pens. everything else was purchased a while before or was a hand me down. and my dad can barely afford to give my brother and I lunch money in the morning. being broke isn't​ a joke. My birthday is August 16. Give thumbs up for it. Hey, I'm going to be a junior this year and I'm going to be swamped with lots of work. I'm already doing book report that's due once I go back to school. My mom is a single mom with two kids and I'm already looking at colleges and doing essays for scholarships, grants, and so much more.
