Real "Baggy" and kind of tight fitting were both around. It was strange. I was 18 and shopping at Structure and Gap then but there were also Fubu kids with huge baggy clothes. The White T-Shirts would continue to grow till about 2005. They got baggier and LONG.

I was 7 years old in 1999. Back to school was a different type of feeling then…. It felt like I was away from my classmates a long time

I see a lot of these video from the nineties and even eighties, of people in stores just shopping, and it's funny how people thiught to do record them, especially when you consider that video cameras weren't as prevelant.

I grew up in Germany in the suburbs. Me and the homies all wore FUBU jerseys and G Unit Reeboks.

Am I the only person watching these videos that isn't like "wow this is so much better than today" but just finds it cool and interesting to see how much things have changed (and how much they've stayed the same)? People in the comments acting like nobody goes shopping with their friends in 2024. It's so weird.

I was living in northside Houston back then. It was all about Polo and Tommy Hilfiger. Ralph Lauren Polo boots were very popular, more so than Jordan's. Even kids were wearing polo shirts, jeans and Polo Boots. I miss the days when people dressed to the nines to go out!

That's when good quality clothes existed, and atmosphere is so calm too, and the cash registers are so nostalgic looking. Even the layout of the store is nostalgic. And nobody was walking around half naked. I love it!! I miss these days!!❤

The New Millennium is upon us, and with it a new me. I'm eager, anxious even, to develop a concept of myself so I can express it to people. I'm thinkin'... skater is my aesthetic. Long t-shirt over sweatshirts, that's gonna be my thing as I start 6th grade.
