Real "Baggy" and kind of tight fitting were both around. It was strange. I was 18 and shopping at Structure and Gap then but there were also Fubu kids with huge baggy clothes. The White T-Shirts would continue to grow till about 2005. They got baggier and LONG.

I was too poor to afford that. But i did get a starter jacket in the mid 1990s that cost 130$$ . i only got it cause it was the cool thing at the time. I couldnt have cared or known less about the Miami Hurricanes.

Me too. This stuff was really expensive. I did get this nice Fila sweatshirt that was like $60 around this time at Boston Store though. It was the only thing I was allowed to get at a store like that, but I loved that sweatshirt. I wore it for so many years, but I'm not sure what happened to it. (I actually have periodically looked on ebay hoping to find another one, but can never find any)

Mfs like you will watch a 5 minute video of people shopping for clothes and say "we used to be a real and proper country" and not give any definitions as to WHY you think we're not a proper country anymore. We're still one of the greatest countries on earth. People WANT to come here still. Other countries WISH they could have it as good as us. Go back to watching some guy shop at penny's and say "the west has fallen"

This just brought back some memories lol... back in '99 we had a kid in our neighborhood named "Tony the Klepto" . You could pay him $50 and he would steal anything you wanted from any store. All of us poor kids would hire him to go school clothes shopping with us every year lmao.

Watching this video got me a little teary I ain’t gonna lie I’m a 90s kid and miss blockbuster nights, rocawear, ecko clothing and Saturday morning cartoons. Life was so much better. One job can pay your rent, bills and still have money left over everything now is ridiculous expensive also everyone looked more happy and were actually going out and really socializing and nobody had a phone in their hand. The advancements of social media and tech destroyed civilization. I’ll do anything to go back to these times

@@socialmedia5805 Nah bro, maybe in your town, but FUBU, Girbaud and JNCO jeans were still popular in NY and Chicago hoods up until 2012. I was in school back then and the gangster kids would wear anything baggy regardless of the brand name. People were still sizing-up their clothes up until 2012. They were trying to dress like Soulja Boy at the peak of his career. He was like the new MC Hammer for the Millennial generation.
