I just love all the new clothes Priscilla picked out for Abbie. They are beautiful and Abbie looks so pretty in all of them. She has nicer clothes than me! I never see such cute outfits when I go shopping! Wow! I can’t believe that it is back to school time already! The summer has flown by! I hope Abbie enjoys being back at school. It’s been so long since school has even been a thing!! I’m sure she is going to be exhausted this first week she is back! I hope Summer records herself changing Harry’s tank around!!! Lol! I can’t wait to see what she does to update the little dude’s home!

I always wonder what Abbie is trying to say when she tries to Express herself. From watching other programs like "trapped in my mind", of non verbal people, oh man I so wish we all could know what she is feeling & thinking. I went to college for the first time when I was 49. I LOVED buying school supplies. I tried to buy some the year after I graduated with my degrees and my husband put the kibosh on that. :(

Learning and having tools to do so is a sign of maturity. It can be done outside of college. It can also be done at community colleges, local public ones, private, etc. Colleges will be desperate for people to enroll. If you don't ask for funding, you won't get it. I was surprised what I got when I went. I am so proud of you for going and trying something new. It can be overwhelming, scary, disorienting, joyous, enriching and a host of other feelings. If I need supplies, I generally look at the Best Sellers in Office Supplies list on Amazon. It's been years since I've been and needed supplies since my funding got cut off without notice in 2017. I'm proud of you for getting not one but two degrees! Two Bachelors? A Bachelor and a Masters? What did you do? :3 That's inspiring and motivational to me. Thank you for sharing a bit about yourself.

@@ericafuentez6465 Thanks! I said to my mother, "But I'm 49"....she said and next year you're going to be 50 whether you go to college or not. So I went. I loved it. I joined the President's Club as the Treasurer, which was something like student government, but we also did events for holidays, like giving out cupcakes, cookies, candy, hats, buttons, etc. and also helping with events like Spring Fling (a semi-formal dance), ice cream social, Halloween haunted house, Pioneer Days band and game night, the Just for the Fun of it party, Mardi Gras, Orientation, Graduation, etc. I also joined the Phi Theta Kappa and was entered into the President's List (highest honors) and also tutored for the college. It was a great time and I got to know so many people. I even had my own "college kids" that called me "Mom" and we still get together for Saturday Game Night a few times a year. I wish I could have never graduated and just kept going on and on...but I had to "grow up" and did so with two degrees and I now have my own business in my home, doing accounting work and other business jobs for small companies. If you can go back, do so! I never regretted it. In fact, my husband went back to school before I did and became a nurse.

My daughter just turned 5 and is also autistic. We homeschool but she does full time ABA at a center, and i was able to take her shopping this year for the first time. I love shopping with her. Its one thing that makes her little eyes light up. She loves picking out all her stuff. Love your family. Yall have helped me so much with my daughter. Thank you for all you guys do and share!

My kids finally went back to school but I unfortunately 1 child goes Monday and Wednesday and the other child goes Tuesday and Thursday and Friday is DRL for the first few weeks....
