Don't devalue human life and being edgy no one would do a raid if there was a JDAM they could call on it with zero consequences.

Love Door Kickers 2. I want to see them implement mass walls vs frame walls. The danger (machine gunners will say benefit) of hot walls would add an additional element of strategy to the game. Beware friendly fire! Fight from Ls! Great video CP! That buddy team clear of the first bathroom was sexy as hell.

If I recall bullet penetration is a thing on some surfaces but not fully implemented yet. I think it works on barricades but only with specific guns (if at all lol). Would be amazing to see the different wall types have different penetration ability... and to have the ability to tell your guys to shoot through a particular wall. Would be awesome.

The random mission generator works really well with small sized maps, they are quicker to resolve and generally you get two to four assaulters to deal with them, they are really fun. Also, I believe the devs wanted to make the "look in direction" command look like a pie, but it sure looks like a pizza!

As I watch these tactics, I keep seeing them in the framing of onward. It's so cool having a game like onward to ACTUALLY try the tactics, and it is so cool. Especially things like, yes, I can pie off the corner, but will I be able to eliminate the threat quickly enough? I was buddied up with a man, clearing the bazzar map in onward, and he swept one side, while I swept the other. I cleared the ground, but saw there was a guy on an upper level. By the time I had seen him, he was already firing on my buddy. In a game like doorkickers, I would have probably been slightly annoyed that the guy sweeping that side didn't shoot in time to save his buddy. In onward, I was legitimately feeling emotions that I failed to protect my buddy who I had been getting to know a bit. Seriously, the difference is astounding.

@@Derpartment Oh yeah, for sure. The replay feature is gonna be awesome. It sounds kinda like the replays in the game Superhot, not sure if you have heard of it. Time only moves in that game when the character does, and when the mission ends it replays at full speed. So If you do everything perfectly, the ending replays are so dope. I get the feeling it will be the same for this game, and I can't wait.

I found out yesterday you can bounce your bangers or frags off walls really hard if you throw your cursor as far as possible. Took me a few to find out, really helps for indoors..

TY for vids. I got the game! Love it! I maxed out my team on random missions. Mate, you way underuse machine gunners and grenadiers on those "kill missions". I use such pairs to open long hallways: breach the wall and then go through "flimsy doors" with 40mm. Random generator: Small map, resistamce 10, two mates with mp5 - a lot of fun!

Been watching these vids for a couple days now. Quality content and interesting. Good work overall, and a pleasant and clear delivery. I only have one mild point of dispute, and that is as follows: I feel like if you are going to claim "realistic tactics" you should probably avoid doing things that would realistically kill your crew, like at 17:00 with the wall breach from inside, where you claim the overpressure would kill you. You have five guys in that room. I guess there are reasons at times to step outside "realism" in a video game though, so whatever. It's nice that it was pointed out that it was unrealistic when it was done, at least.

I played a random map almost exactly like this yesterday. The positions where your assaulters started were actually up against a wall so it had a bit more cover, but there was a large window with a drape concealing the,. I like the idea of this map generator, but I think it needs a little work. Pretty good overall though!

At 3:00 the he grenade can only hit vertical elements such as people or walls. That is why you are only able to get it in that one place. Unfortunately id the guy moves then the he grenade misses. But will hit the back wall.

quick question; So, I'm not sure if you've ever seen these used IRL but there are some munitions designed/made to create breaches and blow away doors; how do you think it would affect the game if implemented? (i.e. standoff breaching munitions such as the MATADOR(man portable Anti-Tank Anti-Door) Launcher or SIMON rifle grenade

I've also had increased problems since the last update with my guys' "pie hold" orders randomly disappearing. It's probably not actually random, but it seems that it happens too often when I don't want it to. I've also had a couple of grenades/bangers bounce back at me from walls/door frames, when the aiming target clearly showed it going through the breach. Have you noticed that, too?

I think it's too much intel to know how many plates are in the kitchen without droning and before the attack starts. Sure, the game will be 3x difficult but maybe also fun. Marksmen are garbage indoors, but they're useful on larger levels for security. For example, one of the random map layouts has a long street with buildings either side - keeping a couple of marksmen looking down the street stops reinforcements and allows you to concentrate on clearing the buildings one at a time. Grenadiers are useful if you have targets that merit special attention - if you want to dictate who gets shot first. They're great for taking out RPGs before they get shots off for example. MGs are similar to marksmen, but for shorter ranges and higher numbers of enemies.
