Day at school is one thing. The little one of my manager has Dinosaur PJ's and knows all their names. And he was so happy that I also knew some of them 😂😂😂 And I know all family pictures of his grandparents now and the picture he painted for his mom....and I know how his Covid test went... including all details when he got sick because the stick in his nose and they had to start over with the test.... 🤢 I will truly miss those parts of virtual meetings. Never thought I would say it, but I look forward going back to the office 🤣🤣

Greetings from me! I am a Member of The Country Women's Association of Victoria Incorporated (Eureka Rebelles Branch, Ballarat District Group). We are experiencing our SIXTH Statewide lockdown. 22 hours before our 2021 State Conference (to be held in Ballarat), we had to go into Lockdown 4. It was only yesterday, our Branch was to have a Branch Meeting via Facebook 'Rooms', but as our Secretary created the Event and I am the Vice President and Membership/Publicity Officer who has to 'chair' the Meetings due to the passing of our President in February, I have access to our page because I am on NOT on FB, I couldn't join the 'Room'... because the Secretary [accidentally] slept in! 😂 I had to let those Members who were coming, "Nope! Not today. To be deferred. Will let you know..." Our Association is much like The Countrywomen's Association of Ireland (ICA) who we are 'Sisters' with on FB. Stay safe, stay sane and Keep Calm and Carry On with your sketches! 💚💛😷

@@michellebyrom6551 I don’t live alone. And 5pm is prime dinner cooking time so the kitchen table is out. My only private space is my bedroom and I don’t have a desk so sadly if they want my attendance, they gotta put up with the fact that I have no effective way to hold my tablet for hours. Not everyone is setup for such. And I can’t work from home because I teach swimming. Plus I’m not getting paid for said meeting either. It’s impossible to hold a position for over an hour. I have tried and gave up as a bad job. The stand on the cover is worse than useless and it never works. 🤷♀️ I do the best I can with what I’ve got.

A bit off topic but when I was teaching online during the pandemic, my wife went into my office, stuck her face into the screen and said 'oh, she looks nice '. I stared at my wife with a 'what is wrong with you' look until she realised my student could see her as well. She was so embarassed til the end of the day.
