I've learnt to gauge the size of the doggie from the tone of Jessie's laugh.

I second this comment!! Yet to spear one and it’s been on my bucket list for years. I once hunted a school for 5 days in Maui, HI, and only was able to get one shot off, and missed🤦♂️ I live in Southern California, so only get in waters that have them very infrequent 😢
@sailingpopaoАй бұрын
Haha cheers legends, we see a lot up here in good sizes. Be sure to go back a couple of episodes if you want your head to pop, the mu schools we found were insane 🤯 it’s the thumbnail with the big blue Maori Wrasse 😍

@@sailingpopao yes, I have seen all of your videos as they are released. I definitely enjoyed that Mu footage too. I believe I made a comment on the Mu there. Keep up the awesome footage! Cheers ⛵️😎

Love your videos, hoping to get out to some of the outer reefs back up from the Whitsundays to Maggie Island . Wondering what satellite imagery you use ? Thanks Glenice & John ⛵️
@sailingpopaoАй бұрын
Oh you must! There is so much to explore there and some of the most untouched ones due to the location/population on that part of the coast. We use Alpine Quest- it’s amazing but only available on android/samsung. We bought this cheap tablet just to run this program. Would do it again and highly recommend. It’s so much easier than dicking around with open CPN and all that stuff.
@glenicehicks283Ай бұрын
@@sailingpopao thanks just downloaded it to a Samsung tablet we have on the boat . Will feel more at ease with better images of the reefs . Keep your vids coming ⛵️🪸😘
@sailingpopaoАй бұрын
Enjoy! Such a great app for scouting out spots. Make sure you turn your tracks on and learn how to flick through the different maps like google, esri, Nokia and bing as you’ll find the imagery varies from reef to reef due to the weather when the satellite pic was taken. Enjoy!

If you could make your sea home bigger would you? And what would you add?
@sailingpopaoАй бұрын
Haha of course! We’d love something a bit bigger for more toys and waterline length for a smoother ride but with a bigger boats comes more cost. Bigger ropes, winches, haul out & marina fees. She’ll do for now 🤭
