Willie, Sarah and their dog, Jack Spaniels, continue their biggest adventure yet - leaving their suburban life and moving over the sea to 'Live The Skye Life'!
In this episode, the 'Skye-Lifers' return from their holiday and get straight back to work. That byre definitely isn't going to refurbish itself after all!
Plus, we take you along as we climb Ben Loyal - the 'Queen of Scottish Mountains' and Jack makes a new friend as Sarah works with another cafe on Skye to stock her prints.

One of your other commentors said you could have bought stuff for your byre if you didnt buy the drums. I thought Sarah had said free but I get it now. Thanks again. Speaking of drums I love your "BIG DRUM" music when you 2 visit castles. So cool and atmospheric!! I hope spats and "little" things will NEVER drive you 2 apart as you seem so perfect for each other. You both are super creative versatile adaptable like to have fun and laugh ( me too). I m Always pulling for you 2. Ive watched EVERY episode on all your channels from the 1st. Ive learned so much about Scotland from you. My son did DNA test and I found out we have Scottish DNA . Learned about gorse old bottles lugworms ( still laugh about that CRAZY flying bucket of lugworms) Scottish food drying fish mushrooms flowers baby tawny owls (Adorable) birds so smart they make meals from kentucky flied and lots more. The other night next to us at a restaurant was a woman that said she was picking out a cute cow cake with shaggy bangs for her daughters 1st baby shower. She showed me the picture and I said "Oh thats a highland coo..a real Scottish cow." She and her husband were so interested. Sarah I Only knew that because of you! We havent had coos in USA BUT if they are cakes the real 1s wont be far behind. Haha. Skye Life is Especially fun cause you do SUCH an assortment of things. Your other channels will now be the cherries on top. Willie your music is crazy fun like jack finding lost sleigh keys to hauntily beautiful..like your home song and gorgeous music on way to abandoned cottages. Love both of your humor and fishing building and funny things jack does. The building parts are special because my Grandad was my Absolute HERO. When he retired the whole basement was his workshop. I remember even at 5 I d go down there and stand beside him and watch him build things and smell the wonderful smell of all the wood shavings. He had this huge vice that once he had put wood glue on a build he d put it in the vice til it dried. If nothing was in it he would let me spin the handle open and close. ( Good thing to keep a 5 year old busy) Did you 2 do your own stacks of rocks? Netball.. is that our volleyball? Willie do you play a dulcimer and mandoline also? Appreciate both you very much. ( for expanding my world with loads of new things AND especially for all the laughs)

I was in Skye 60 years ago. Brings back lots of memories. Took a ferry from Kyle of Lochalsh to Portree and saw the Coolins and went to Dunvegan Castle. Will live in my memory always.

I'm 72 now, & envious of your liberty to take those hikes & climb those peaks. Sigh. ---I enjoyed that old cottage tour (I would have tested those steps!), & hope to hear more of the music played during your stop there.---I appreciate you taking the time to remember those lost in that plane crash. Their souls, no doubt, loved hearing they are remembered.---There's a large bog near me, which came as a surprise to many of us, when it caught fire a number of years ago (wasn't a huge blaze) and it continued to smoke lazily for another year after the blaze was extinguished.---Too bad about the silent cuckoo just when you wanted to capture it!---I was also interested to learn the name of the bog cotton! Lovely plant!

Hello from western Canada.It is always lovely to watch your adventures on Skye.You have worked hard at creating a wonderful new work spaces for both of you.I hope you are considering bringing natural light into your byre with perhaps the addition of windows and or a skylight..Sarah is a very talented artist,and should consider doing prints of your historical cottage to sell at the coffee shop.Allow good drainage around the byre so all your hard work is not compromised by heavy rains that are so frequent.Take care and God Bless.

Marigold gloves are great! I used to wear them for windsurfing in England in the winter, and they kept my hands warm! Jack is such a darling, watching on with everything you do, just to be near you two. It is great, what you are achieving in your new cosey home, and your outbuilding. We did this to one in the West of Highlands. It was very difficult to age as they did not register houses until 1850's around but estimated to be around 1770's or even earlier. It is still standing, well and healthy with very little change from the original. Beautiful home, beautiful scenery and lovely true Scottish people, when you could find them amongst the incomers who knew everything.
