It definitely is not on purpose. Gisele's walk, while it looks fierce, tends to be at times sloppy. She tended to look down a lot, and often dwindle to the side. Her horsewalk was very aggressive and powerful, but those were her two weakest points.

I think the designers want people to concentrate on the clothes not the models now. Most of the models don't make that much money, only the Top Level & well known ones. There's a lot of competition for jobs and many young ppl are still used and abused by the industry.

The only reason Naomi would have said anything was if the designer told her to give Giselle a message. Otherwise, you don't tell another model how to do their job. Plus, Naomi had a bad rap that was completely false. She wasn't mean or bossy, she was just good! That info about her going crazy and being mean to her assistant was just a way for her assistant to try to get money out of her. It was unfortunate that Naomi lost her court case regarding that assistant. I would not have let my assistant get away with stealing my $400 dollar jeans, either! Naomi worked hard for everything she had. She and I both belonged to the same agency in Italy, and she was always polite, kind, and extremely hard working.
