That's the boss who tortured him with his goons. Wow, life go round and round. One day you were the executioner of the protagonist and now you work for him. Still I feel sorry for the outcome with him in this episode, he ended up sacrificing his life for one of his subordinates and despite being a sadist when it came to debt, he was much more empathetic than the man with the suitcase.

There was always a tracker. In s1 One of the workers tried to scan, when it didnt turn green the brother (cop) folded him and took his place. Technically brother is missing but not really. He was ocassionally paying for his" apartment how the brother found the card in the 1st place.

the Russian Roulette scenes were so masterfully done I was so tense for both (even the second one though Gi-hun has plot armor). "Time to Say Goodbye" also made it better for me because it was one of my mom's favorite songs and back in college, my roommate and I played this loudly on full blast when we were packing up our room after finishing freshmen year

Guessing the factor the recruiter didn’t recognize his dad immediately was because from season 1 a lot of these people were down on their luck, gamblers, probably alcoholics his dad was probably in that camp and barely around so when the games recruit him when he was a kid dad probably was so caught up with his own stuff didn’t notice anything different probably wasn’t around for his son so when he says he was finally feels his existence was acknowledged this tells me his dad did a crap job with him probably made him fend for himself, made him feel powerless and the games finally game him power and he never looked back questioning right or wrong but simple I finally feel like I’m worth something to someone and I won’t let them down
