You don't need to buy the subscription, works perfectly well without, only thing it does is just group all your games, that's it. Been using the backbone for awhile now without the subscription and it works perfectly well.

Have you tried it with Zflip4? I've heard that many controllers tend to 'close it' when you put a bit too much pressure from the sides and back

Ya and no cooling fan and case support like they could've made the usb-c a bit taller that way it could work with most of the cases offcourse not extreme bulky autobox cases but average sized case, but not having a mobile cooling fan for something that is meant to be for gaming costing $100 is a rip off even for $50 I'd say ripoff like we should have 2 or 3 mini cooling fans because pretty much all controller supported games are heavy and will heat up your device, like I'd want this phone to become as good as red magic or dedicated gaming phone with this controller considering its $100. We should have basic subscription and we should get ps and xbox emulator we're we can play these games without owning a whole concil ya I'll buy games like gta v or stuff but I don't want to buy a whole concil I want to have something remote because remote play having to own a concil defeats the purpose, like I wish they can add native emulator instead. I wish we can get 2 usb c ports it will be better for accessory and having the usb c port on the mid left edge of the phone like a gaming phone because the port on the bottom while charging gets in the way when playing games. There are so many thing they need to pay attention for because the asking price is too much and I'd say this is worth $29-$39 for just being a basic controller that works with controller support game, like that's all we're getting for no subscription and than I could agree to pay $40 pet year for subscription but for $100+ we should already get all those subscription.

Nice you showing the software of the backbone but you never mentioned about the headphones or the charger port. If the charger part charges the backbone or is it a pass through charge to the phone. Part from that great video

I think with the dbrand grip it's too thick. I asked a year or so ago on the subreddit if my 7 Pro with a grip case would fit the razer kishi, and a few, including an official dbrand robot responded that it'd be too thick, so i think the backbone will also not fit

Yeah I don’t understand what Backbone did and why others don’t do it, but they are the only Android wired controller that works on CODM. On iPhone, all of them work on CODM.

@Anti Tatr Hall Effect Analog joysticks use magnets so they don't rub against each other and wear out. And the gamesir x2 pro uses Hall Effect sticks.

I use psplay app...great app..I even use it with phone data ..no wifi needed and it supports gyro controls
