Dude YES I was thinking about this dang movie too with Cocaine Bear coming out, totally agree with everything you said like holy CRAP. Was genuinely the most scared I've ever been watching a movie and it's so funny because the "villain" is a literal real life animal a BEAR. So, so scary, it's almost embarrassing how hard my heart was thumping after the attack but yeah it was just so crazy. You know the film making has to be strong when they can make a bear seem so impossibly powerful and overwhelming

You hit the nail on the head. The villain is just a wild bear. You can't reason with a wild animal and when it's ready to kill, it's going to kill. I was paralyzed after that bear attack scene. Thank you for the comment as well! It means so much!

Lmao, I agree. Obviously, we know bears are dangerous, but man... the brutality depicted in this film was flat-out frightening.

@@TheReelRapNerd I will never look at one, not even at a zoo, the same again. I wasn’t even trying to pay attention to the movie much because I was packing and didn’t think it was gonna be good. Thought it was gonna be another grizzly park but I ate my words man. It was so ominous and you really couldn’t tell what or who was after them then when you finally knew it was the bear there was enough time left for a short lived lingering sense of dread enough to know what was gonna happen but praying it wouldn’t.

I came about this movie by accident...thought it was going to be about the couple being hunted down by that guy they came across hunting them ..completely threw me when the hunter ended up being a bear and the guy at the end being a rescuer...brilliant

My wife and I had the same moment of jaw drop when the tent scene happened. It was so raw and realistic that we were shocked. We went into knowing nothing so it was highly effective
