This music in the beginning of the video is so beautiful/peaceful. I love watching you handle the rapids... lol... like watching a leaf bob down the river... You make it look so easy and for many it would be a recipe for a disaster. I loved learning the rivers but I was not experienced... had good people to learn from however for what time I enjoyed paddling.

Thanks very much, the musician is Alsaver Lake who’s a canoeist from Ontario. It’s amazing that his music resonated with me for my videos before I knew that.

I just loved how North sat in the boat as you walked it upstream. What a beautiful dog you have Jim. I have an Alaskan Malamute who is just trouble where ever we go, no chance of her sitting calmly in a canoe, she would be biting the fish and dumping us for fun. Love these day trip vids.

But his pup on the Artic adventure is never forgotten. Just like the song "Mr. Bojangles"- "His dog up and died. He upped and died. And after 20 years he still grieves." I understand and live the sentiment...
@BentbrooksRambles2 жыл бұрын
@@HalsPals That was a great pup, too. I cherish each of my dogs, those with me and those I’ve lost. Because I’ve kept to the same breeds, I see flashes of behavior in my current two that remind me of my others, and that always makes me smile. Humans probably don’t deserve the love of dogs, but I’m grateful for it.
