If you use climbing skins on your skis, you've probably noticed they're filled with rocks, dirt, pine needles, and other debris. The glue is probably all balled up and clumpy, and the skins stick too much or not enough. You can always buy new skins, but for nearly free, you can also do a quick skin refresh. This process won't cure all your climbing skin problems, but it will rejuvenate your climbing skins and allow you to get more life out of them.
It's a simple process anyone can do at home. All you need is some parchment paper and an iron.
Here's the iron I picked up on Amazon that works perfectly for this and for waxing as well (This is an amazon affiliate link that will help fund Adventure School at no cost to you).
