I thought Superformance was made in South Africa. I didn't know Back Draft was also made in South Africa. I think I will check to see if Back Draft is also made in SA.

I know Factory Five is more of a Kit where you do all the work.... and the Backdraft is either a rolling chassis (like the video) where you finish it off of you buy the car complete. Not sure about Superformance.

Just looked up to see where Backdraft Cobras were made. The information I found out was Backdraft Cobras are made in Boynton Beach FL. This guy needs to get his info straight.

Royce Chambers Hi Royce backdraft sales and office are located in Florida. The production is done in South Africa you can google where Backdraft are built. They are built under the contract under TR Tech of Durban South Africa. The Backdraft Roadster is imported to the United States as a turnkey minus the driveline to Florida.

they are imported into Florida to have the engines installed. By shipping just the bodies from SA, they avoid duties on cars.

If your are going to compensate for altitude why didnt you go with fuel injection.? Fast or MSD, Holley all would have been a smart choice

Dick Jones that is a good question. We install many fuel injection systems for many of our customers. This customer did not fuel injection wanted to keep it all mechanical no computer. After it was all done she produced over 600 HP thanks for the comment

I’ve saw too many of those pos cobra replica in light accidents and there were unrecognizable. These replicas are unsafer than a pos Chinese car.

You are about dumb ass. There are knock offs, and then there are ones that are better built and safer than the originals. Not all of them are created equal. West Coast cobras are very well built and so are the Backdraft and Superformance. All 3 of those are on a full box tube chassis. If you dont know what you are talking about just keep your stupid comments to yourself
