It's really hard to try to emphasise how much better the UK version is - as a Brit, because I just sound biased - but I think our National psyche just aligns with the UK version over the US version. As a designer I think even the logos themselves reveal a lot - one doesn't give much away, the other is stacked with clip-art pageantry and bombast. Generally, Brits hate this kind of stuff... and sadly this is reflected in the cast and the set up. Dare I say, even, our beloved Alan Cumming, who hams it up way too much. That would never work over here.

I love the premise so much but can’t bring myself to watch the US version, it’s just too much wham for my British brain.

I would agree that UK as a whole is better, the US just has a lot of people we watch or have seen on other shows so we are either rooting for or against them

PS But this whole Production twist smacks of over-interference, and they had better be careful in future... or it will all unravel. At least in the UK :)

Yeah it is very fishy to me, lets see how it plays out here and than in a few weeks in US to see if it makes it to season 4
